Definition of complete product suite

The application server as a complete application will be made up of four parts

• Delivery mechanism like web/mail servers
• Server application framework
• Client application
• Client API

So far we have seen the description of server application framework. In this section we will consider the other aspects of it.

The main focus of this section is to use off-the shelf components as far as possible. This will benefit us in two aspects

• It will cut down total development time
• It will allow easy integration of third party technologies into our products
